Mark 12:30-31

30 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. 31 The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. No other commandment is greater than these.

In modern world there is a big problem with worldwide Church. Most of born-again believers don’t give importance to practical Biblical love. They just want to do something big for God they try to make them busy in practical ministry but they don’t think that what God’s will is for them in their whole life. Actually, this is not God’s will that all believer burn themselves in doing just ministry work and don’t care of their behave and relations with other; ministry comes from inside of us it is not just a practical work to show other and if say that if we are following God’s commandments then He uses us as He wants not as what we want.

Today in Church many Christian leaders don’t love people by their whole heart or sincerely. They just try to give back to people what they do to them but this totally opposite of God’s Word and His Love. As we have read in Luke 12:30-31 that our first duty is to love God with all our hearts then we are to love our neighbors. Who are our neighbors? Surely, those people who are around us; like our family, relatives, Church fellows many others who are around us somehow. What we have read in Mark 12:30-31 these are two verses but these verses are interconnected; because if we want to love our neighbors then first we will have to love our Lord God, how? Certainly! We can do it by fulfilling His commandments. So, God’s word tells us that we are follow God’s Word either our emotions wants or not because God does not work through our emotion but through our faithfulness of His Word. The second part of above given verse is to love your neighbor. What kind of love, surely the selfless and pure Godly love; we can read the elaboration of God’s Word in the Bible in

1- Corinthians 13 chapter in New Testament in the Bible. This kind of love in practical with our neighbors makes us the real practical spiritual believer but without it we are just some customs and deceiving ourselves. So, if we realize that we are not doing so as God’s word is telling us to do then we have to take decision today to follow God’s word today so that we could be God’s beloved Children.
