‘Shout out loud for your rights’, Pope Francis tells youth on Palm Sunday

VATICAN CITY: Palm Sunday was celebrated across the globe, as well as in Pakistan, with religious fervour and praying ceremonies were attended by Christians in large numbers everywhere.

Churches all over the world arranged special prayers for the Palm Sunday and they were attended by the Christians in massive numbers. A special prayer was also arranged at Vatican City and it was addressed by Pope Francis as well.

In his address, Pope stressed that the youths must keep shouting and raising their voices. He said that there have always been attempts to keep the youth silent and there are several methods especially designed to keep them quiet and indifferent. He urged the youth to raise their voices.

Meanwhile, special prayers were also arranged in Pakistani churches on the occasion of Palm Sunday where Christians all over the country prayed for the security and stability of the country. Special arrangements had been made by the police for the security of the churches on the occasion.
