RAWALPINDI: Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Rawalpindi Region Ahmed Ishaq Jahangir goes to see Gurdawara Punja Sahib at Hassanabdal and reviewed security arrangements for Sikh pilgrims during the upcoming festival.
By a statement issued here on Saturday, he uttered satisfaction over security measures and directed concerned to further improve the security to avoid any untoward incident.
RPO guaranteed that protection of worship places is the top most priority of police department adding that Sikh pilgrims are welcomed to come to Gurdawara Punja Sahib.

All out exertions are being made to arrange for foolproof security to the Sikh pilgrims, as they are our worthy guests, he added.
Before, DPO Attock Syed Nadeem Bukhari instructed the RPO about the security plan for Sikh pilgrims.
As many as 1100 well armed cops of Rawalpindi police would be positioned at Gurdawara Punja Sahib in Hassanabadal.
