LAHORE: An Easter event was organised in the provincial capital by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the event was also attended by Kashmiri freedom fighter Yasin Malik’s wife Mishal Malik. The participants of the event also observed one-minute silence to honour the Kashmiri martyrs.

Addressing the ceremony, Mishal Malik said that the state terrorism in the occupied valley had crossed all limits and even those raising their voice against the atrocities were being imprisoned. She said that the Indian army was committing genocide of the Kashmiri people and urged the international community to take notice of the Indian government’s barbarism.

Malik said that all the religions gave out a message of peace. She also thanked the Christians in Pakistan for remembering Kashmiris and hoped that good days will soon be back in the valley.
