QUETTA: Terrorist organisation Islamic State (IS) has on Tuesday accepted the responsibility of the murder of four members of Christian community just a day after Easter.

The murdered family had been travelling in a rickshaw when suddenly some armed attackers opened a volley of fire on them. According to police, it was an act of target-killing as the attackers had specifically targeted the Christian community.

The unfortunate family had been visiting their relatives on Shah Zaman Road as guests and had come from Lahore to spend their Easter holidays.

IS has now claimed that the attack had been carried out by its members. The incident had left four members of the same family dead and a minor girl severely injured on Monday.
