MULTAN: (Christian Times) – Police on Monday told the court that the house where the slain actress Qandeel Baloch was murdered last year was owned by a friend of Mufti Abdul Qavi, the religious scholar indicted in Baloch’s murder case.
According to details, the hearing of the Qandeel Baloch murder case was held at Multan District and Session Court. The police also presented the report of Mufti’s polygraph test on the occasion.
The court extended Mufti Abdul Qavi’s remand by two days and handed him to the police.
Other accused in the case Waseem and Haq Nawaz were also presented before the court. Police revealed that the house where Baloch was killed belonged to a very close friend of Mufti Abdul Qavi.
Upon the request by the investigator, the court ordered to present the complete challan on November 20 and adjourned the proceedings.
Qandeel Baloch’s father Azeem Mahra told the court on this occasion that Mufti Abdul Qavi had offered him bribe for getting his name cleared from the case. He requested the court to punish the murderers of his daughter.
