Former student sues Oxford University for insufficient education
LONDON: (Christian Times) – Faiz Siddiqui, a former student at Oxford University, has sued the institution for providing him incomplete education in the subject of Modern History in 2000, making his overall score suffer. Faiz claims that the university staff was on leave during the course and he was provided with insufficient facilities.
Siddiqui’s lawyer said that his client wanted to make a profitable career after his graduation from Oxford University but the degree didn’t turn out to be good enough and he was quite disappointed with the fact. He said that Siddiqui was currently unemployed and suffering from severe depression.
On the other hand, Oxford University has denied the charges and maintained that the case was filed beyond legal time. The varsity claims that Faiz was given as much education as the rest of the students.
